Mind you I thought I'd be more in the humour for a rake of pints tonight getting to our first final in 16 years - but I wasn't. A right fooking soaking followed by an ultrapuke and cynical display by our opponents has left me rather drained and bewildered. I will recover.

Dublin club football/hurling championships unlikely to be completed in time for Leinster club championship according to chairman Andy Kettle. Good news for Meath SFC winners as they are due to meet the Dublin champs.

Can't see it being completed near impossible at this stage, players would have to play 2 games a week in the football and that's excluding the hurling for dual players its a mess really..
If the football wen't to a replay that would be the end
They might nominate a team

Lads - enjoy these few weeks ...let no-one put you off. To be in 4 Finals is amazing. One win would be great, two amazing ... etc. Great days to be a Dub. And happy to share it with anyone who wants to cheer along a county that has put huge effort into both our main sports. C'mon the Dubs!

Is there a good buzz around the City for all the Finals Jayo or is Dublin so big that it's swallowed up?

Ah no the GAA village in Dublin is a small community. Most people here are rugby heads and Premiership heads or have no interest in sport - only heavy metal and pop music. So the minority GAA people here trundle along trying to keep the games alive. Its going well this year but is hard work. But the buzz among our little community is lively enough.
