Re: Kerry v Cork
to me a dirty player would be the like of O'Leary, who is often the catalyst for Galvin being sent off.

Going around attacking Galvin's fists and elbows with his face. He should be banned from the game.

I know I'm going off topic here but if you think that O' Leary is an angel.........

Re: Kerry v Cork
When I was young our star hurler used to take awful abuse and NEVER retaliated, as he didn't believe in all that late pulling, catching people accidentally on the funny bone and all that. He just wanted to play the game as it should be played.
One day he cracked, just whacked this bloke right in the middle of the skull.
Banned for life..............

Feck it I'm agreeing to an extent with Moss.
Galvin great player but feckin ruthless.
But all winners have that nasty ruthless streak, KK and Coady been the best examples.
all Galvins problems are he plays under the glare of the camera and he hasn't copped on that he will not get away with it.
Dirty player Yes
Stupid individual --Yes

True it appears. Don't know why he left, or came back.

Good news that he is back. Needed a break at the time as his form had dipped. Played County Championship last week and seemed to be regaining his appetite. We need as many reinforements as possible as things are not looking good.

Well that's me converted. Galvin didn't deserve it and Cadogan should be banned.

We are often too quick to judge and I am as guilty as anyone. I don't doubt that whoever put that together is a dab-hand in the editing department themselves but nonetheless, a lot of what is in that video is new to me and for the first time ever I felt genuinely sorry for Galvin when he got the red for his spat with Cadogan there last year, seeing the way it really came about there.
Galvin is no angel, far from it, but I am coming round to the opinion that he is definitly a man more sinned against.

Re: Kerry v Cork
I'd be more a Galvin fan than against the guy but there is no way Cadogan is trying to bite his nose there - none. The nice mood music and all is lovely but clearly Cadogan stops way short of contact with the nose and if you look at it carefully he is clearly roaring at Galvin - hence his mouth in Galvin's face. But there is absolutely no attempt to bite there.

Tried to eat him, without salt or relish.
Clearly we still have cannibalism in areas of Cork, maybe Beara.
Told ye all that Galvin was a much maligned man.
