With the bullshit you are coming out with its clear you could do with looking at a dictionary yourselfBoxtyeater wrote:ormond lad wrote:You seem to be an incedibly bitter b*stard over a sport that you more than likely are unable to play
So only sports where "everyone" doesnt get a cent is considered a sport.
I'm amazed I'm wasting time on you.....look up sport in the dictionary...

Re: The Rugby Thread
Ronan is playing really well at the moment to such an extent that you'd forget Wallace is injured. Munster still look a bit light to me but some of the newer lads are doing really well - O'Mahony, Zebo impressing with Murray showing amazing maturity for a 22 year old. O'Callaghan apparently well peeved at being dropped but as I have often said he is a penalty liability and proved it by giving away 2 within 15 minutes of his introduction at the weekend.
Castres are their usual selves, paying lip service to the HC and will turn up with the usual disinterest once Munster get the early scores. Would be surprised in Munster don't get the 5 points.

Some result alright! I think Ulster whacked Leicester 33-0 a few year back in their biggest HC hiding - if so tonight was worse! Or worser as us Dubs say! Bonus point was really a bonus and while they have to go to Clermont yet they have given themselves every chance. Sth Africans have been very good for Ulster and they have again proved what a fortress Ravenhill can be. That said I think English PL rugby is pi55 poor and is being shown up mostly in this years competition. All brawn and no brains!

Brave performance by Connacht against star studded Toulouse. Nearly denied them a bonus but will be a bit peeved about all 4 tries which were soft to say the least. Plenty of bigger teams have been beaten by more than 21 at Ernest Wallon.
Fair play to Munster - into the QFs with 5 wins out of 5. They are still not firing on all cylinders though and have to go to Northampton next week. They could still lose out on a home QF which would not be good. Ryan, Coughlan and O'Mahony were immense today - as was O'Connell as usual.

Looking ahead to the 6 Nations, Irish players looking in very good form. Trimble in excellent shape, Ferris awesome as ever - himself and O'Brien surely two of the best players in the world at the moment - human wrecking balls! Best is in super form too - interesting to read recently that himself and Denis Leamy are best of mates - Leamy was Best's best man! In Munster, ROG, Murray, O'Connell and Earls playing well with O'Mahony, Coughlan, Ryan and Zebo all deserving of consideration. In Leinster McFadden, Fitzgerald putting a case forward with Healy, Heaslip, Ross, O'Brien, Sexton and Kearney all looking good. Could be a good season!

The A squad(Wolfhounds) play the week before the 6 nations begin and some of the more impressive lads off that will be added to the senior squad. Given the way the IRFU operate and that the rankings for the next WC will be decided this June DK has his hands tied and is in no position to experiment. Only way there will be huge changes if if there are injuries or we lose our first two games

He can have a look at new faces in the A game and can add to the main squad if performances in the game v the Saxons warrantbocerty wrote:no new faces in the 6 Nations Squad - is there nothing new coming through or does Kidney already have the best players in the squad????
Clearly is giving the world cup squad a shot at making up for the disapointment that was the welsh game
Our world cup ranking at the end of the year decides our ranking for the draw for the next world cup and with 3 tests v new zealand in the summer we need as many wins as possible and there isnt a huge amount of room for experimentation

Ulster manager Brian McLaughlin has already stated that he expected several Ulster players to make the 6 Nations Squad and yet they didnt even make the Wolfhounds squad. I appreciate what you are saying lads maybe Kidney doesnt want to take too many unnecessary risks

Hat trick for Zebo who has been immense throughout. Munster have been under savage pressure in the scrum but have dominated every other aspect of the game. Coughlan, O'Mahoney and Earls have been excellent

Re: The Rugby Thread
Another great weekend for Irish rugby.
Great display from Connacht - if a little sickening for Conor. Toulouse too show frailty on the road - again. Ulster very unfortunate - try should never have been awarded. Hines clearly took Munster 7 out and he should have been in the bin anyway. Same thing happened in Aviva in semi last year for Toulouse try incidentally. Leinster were good given conditions - but will be a tad annoyed not to get BP. Munster were immense! Coughlan, O'Mahoney just brill - they NEVER go backwards. Zebo coming on really well - will have to stay grounded - and Earls did good too!
Not sure if it is the case - but I think pool Winners have to be top 6 seeds - so Ulster and prob Edinburgh (or Cardiff) would be 7 and 8 as best losers? If so its prob Munster v Ulster and Leinster v Edinburgh?? Seems a lot of experts don't seem to know what happens!
Finally - TG4 - fair play to them for their coverage but .... Highlights of an hour can be too much in a poor game. And who the hell edits it?? So many times you do not see a try replayed yet the package incudes 'highlights' that are definitely not - and replays of uninteresting incidents. C'mon TG4 - you can do better!

Re: The Rugby Thread
The 6 pool winners are the top 6 seeds. Agree with you on tg4s coverage, great that they are covering it but the editing is shocking with them showing some poorer parts of games and leaving out scores, exciting parts of gamesParouisa wrote:Another great weekend for Irish rugby.
