Re: National Hurling League Divisions 1 & 2
Routine wins for Clare, Limerick, Kilkenny and probably tipp by the looks of it this weekend. The Dubs should win in Offaly although it is hard to know how they will play with the favourites tag and Offaly will hold no fear of them, like the look of Galways chances below in Cork as well....

Re: National Hurling League Divisions 1 & 2
Yesterdays result in the dublin game could lead to being a lot more significant than people think, the beating they gave offaly could mean they are stepping to the next level in terms of confidence and experience, it will stead them well come championship, i dont think the likes of antrim can get near them this year, although i didnt think they would last year either.
The league is showing signs of another good hurling championship and although antrim wer beaten we look sharper than this time last year when laois mauled us, mention to laois they will be out this year to prove they can mix it with the dublins, corks etc, they will be no push overs, looking forward to seeing how carlow get on also, they are flying in the league, Limerick are constantly giving good workman performances but will need to watch complacency against antrim in casement or clare in the league final should they meet.
The sun is shinning today, antrims performance has its positives and we wont dwell to much, we proved last year that being in div 1 doesnt mean everything when we beat the dubs, we could do the same this year.

The Carlow Kerry game was very ill tempered. 3 sending off in the second half but our second half performance was top class especially when we went down to 13 men. We used the ball sensibly and took our chances. The backs held up extremely well. Should be an interesting contest up in Casement next Sunday......

Cant wait for sundays encounter v carlow, if its anything like last years championship i may bring valium, in my eyes probably game of the year last year and only seen by 5/6k, hopefully its half the game really looking forward to it, i think we can win it, but again, carlow know no limits when it comes to playing teams who are traditionally stronger hurling counties, i wish my own county would take the same attitude.

Hopeful of a good game NSG. We are down Craig Doyle unless they appeal his red card he got against Kerry. He will be a big loss but if we play like we did against Kerry in the first half we will be beat out the gate. If Carlow are going to win we need to stop leaking goals and start scoring more. Conceded 2 against Down and Laois and 1 against Kerry. Only scored 2 and thats was on Sunday. Our centre back Dwain Kavanagh was very loose on marking on Sunday and he cannot afford to do that against someone with the ability of Neil McManus. Lets hope for a good game and a nail biting finish and of course a Carlow victory.

Ha good man NSG. Do many go to the league games in Antrim? We will have very little following up there I would say.

You'll always have them no matter what sport, just look at the cricket. We have a terrible following in the league couple a hundred at home games.

Very true, suppose its what gets people interested, i notice the ulster rugby team have gained a hell of a lot more supporters this year too, watching them at ravenhill couldnt believe the amount of gaa tops, clear to see where the support is starting to come from lol.
But weve had memorable times, glory hunters or not and it takes everybody to make them times memorable.

Down came to Ennis yesterday with a very simple game plan and that was to timber Clare out of it, the same as they did the year before.....If Down want respect then they should stop acting like cornerboys on the field

Good man Pontificating Puke ....
I think you would want to look uo the meaning of pontificating, given the players dublin were missing and going on Wexford putting it up to Waterford and Kilkenny in their last two games along with home advantage, 9/4 looked like a bit of value, unfortunately that didn't transpire, but that is gambling....

I have never maintained to having high morals but I do have no nothing but contempt for the Catholic church in light of the findings of the ryan report and subsequent handling of it and people who bring nothing but enless suffering to their friends and family through intravenous drug use and don't feel these people should be made gods out of, i don't think that is having great & high morals and I think most people would agree with my assertions
Are you a fan of the Catholic church's lack of remorse at their heinous crimes and intravenous drug users, jayo?
