Re: Dublin GG News
Thought O Carroll got exposed in first 10 minutes v Kildare also. The issue was resolved in stopping the supply.

Re: Dublin GG News
O'Carroll was on Bray for a minute and a half. Had he been left there for the whole game, Bray would have scored 93 points (at a rate of 2 points per minute and a half).
Cooper then took over on Bray after point number two and the Meath man continued his devastating form. Cooper did not make one steal from him.
Bray also destroyed Ger Brennan.

Re: Dublin GG News
Really looking forward to the game tomorrow . Always nice to play the langers in Croker . With all the media hype about dublin's full back line I expect cork to target it early on . Once Dublin snuff out this threat It will give Dublin a platform to build on towards victory . The Dublin midfield will have to much pace for cork . The day of two apes catching the ball is long gone . Once McCauley and o Sullivan break the tackle they will give the forwards the chances to score goals . I expect Flynn and Kilkenny to drop back turn over ball and let it into the forwards quickly . Dublin forwards will have crucial role in creating a high line .
Dublin by 7 points
Where are all the good dubs gone ?

5 in a row is little more than a pipe dream, and am man of Hickey's intelligence is well aware of that.bronco wrote:joe writes that hickey thinks the dubs will win 5 in a row should be fun,but for now i would settle for 3 in 4 years which is well within the dubs grasp

Interesting to see the comparison of Niall Morgan to Cluxton in the article. The Tyrone man has recovered remarkably quickly from the knee injury that kept him out all summer, and today was named in the provisional squad to play the aussies. I'm a big fan of Morgan, and the only thing that will stop him becoming the best goalkeeper in Ireland is if Mickey Harte decides he needs him out the field.

Ah here Boc, Jim Gavin says that the Dubs play a pure brand of football, with no dirt, cynicism or defensive tactics. Last year they had to battle the lies that Donegal spread about them, other cheating counties, plus the referees (that Jim got stuck into following the AI final).
They are Whiter than White and the Saviours of Football, because Jim says that he has principles that he would never compromise. For you to come on here and try to imply otherwise just makes you a begrudger.

indeed TC im starting to sound like Brolly.
Mind you the last 10 minutes of last years All Ireland final did much to enhance their reputation as being whiter than white.

Isolated incidents, Boc. Next you'll be dragging up what happened with the Gooch in the semi final.

Slightly off topic i hear Dublin will have up to 8 senior players starting for their U-21s this year, they are unlikely to be caught on the hop in Leinster this year and are sure to be All Ireland favorites.

Back on topic, the previously mentioned biting incident could see that number reduced to 7.

Dealt with in what way? Surely DCU won't just let this matter drop, irrespective of the amount of money they make from the Dublin GAA teams
