Re: Cavan GG News
The Farney will be far too strong Jayo.. We'll be lucky to keep the scoreboard respectable.. The only reason Cavan agreed to go ahead with the game at all was so they could do a bit of Asda shopping on the way home..

I should have deleted this as I realised my error earlier I had it in my phone that we were playing Armagh this weekend and was therefore convinced this was true. My phone calandar has long since superceded my brain for remembering things.

thought that alright.not good for my club though,we have 3 lads on the u21s,first game of the season on sunday, our first year in div1 since early 90's,only a small town so we'll be replacing them lads with 17 year olds if the u21s win,not going to be a good start to the season.

Yep - AND we are getting a private audience with ...... Larry Reilly!!

Re: Cavan GG News
The audience with LR does come with a health warning however.. If at any stage during the meeting you forget where you are from and are suddenly convinced that you are from Cavan don't be worried this is perfectly normal. If you suffer from withdrawal symptoms from the presence of LR-again this is normal. If you suddenly find yourself at the pearly gates talking to St Peter then you have obviously mentioned the double bounce to LR and he has killed you. GAA Tipster and the Cavan County Board take no responsibility for injuries sustained mental or physical while talking to LR.

Re: Cavan GG News
Fermanagh fans are supposed to be a bit dodgy but with Larry Reilly on our side we have nothing to fear!
The game is down for 12th June (thank God its not 12 July I have other engagements up North that day ) - which is a Saturday - and its at 5.15pm!
Dubs won't bebeating meeting Wexford til the following day so I may be able to toddle up to Kingspan to cheer our adopted boys.
Anyone else going? JS, Dougal and the other Cavan lads - do we need tickets? Can ye get them for us? Face value!! Should we bring sambos and flasks? Will ye supply the replica jerseys, flags etc?

How about having this on front and back?
They are a bit tatty looking (typical student) and would not suit my dapper image. Can we not do a designer one? I don't want to offend the good burghers of Cavan - a county known for their sartorial elegance - by wearing a Tipp-Ex logo .....
Can you see if we can get a group discount and we can distribute them through here? Trust me - they will become the item to be seen in this Summer - as long as they are wateproof.
Please don't place your orders folks until the heavy metal loving, greasy long haired student comes up with something a little more elegant!
ps Some Hunky Dory type ones for the gals wd be good.
