Who will win?
UEFA Champions League
An interesting competition this year 3 out the 4 the same as last year. Everything is still to play for as both first legs were very tight. Can't see Arsenal troubling United too much at the Emirates, they might get a late goal but I reckon United will be out of sight at that stage.
As for Barcelona and Chelsea, can't see Barcelona getting the same gifts they got against Real Madrid. Chelsea to win it by a goal.

I see the final in Rome being a repeat of Moscow, and Utd to win it in 90 mins this time round!

Re: UEFA Champions League
Wonder if there will be any crowd trouble in Rome. You'd be asking for it if you wore any team colours on the way to the match.

I think Barca will win overall and will beat Chelsea at the Bridge, i think (and hope) United beat Arsenal, and then Arsenal might beat them in the league and if Man City do the biz then the Premiership coul be docking in the Albert Docks!

I wouldn't mind those results Sami, seeing as it would mean Utd are in the final!

Ah right Sami, thought you meant tonights results! I'll just say this, I see Utd scoring and can't see Arsenal scoring 3. But really anything could happen tonight and I'll say no more for fear of jinxing it!

Re: UEFA Champions League
Surprised at that team, both Tevez and Berbatov on the bench! Looks to be a defensive team with alot of workers around the middle, not too sure about it tbh.

Re: UEFA Champions League
Rooney starts up front then I suppose MMM? and who is with him?
i hope Fergie isn't going to play a defensive game and try and cling onto a 1-0 aggregate victory. i can see Arsenal going for it right from the off, but Man United might just play safe for a while and push for a goal later on. what do you think?
hopefully both teams will be up for it big time - good for us neutrals!

Re: UEFA Champions League
Team:
VDS
O'Shea Rio Vidic Evra
Ronaldo Carrick Fletcher Anderson Park
Rooney
I suppose you could see Ronaldo up front with Rooney, or even Rooney on the left seeing as he's been doing well there recently. But a big surprise one of the other two don't play. Looks like Fergie's trying to spoil the midfield and restrict Fabregas' influence.

Re: UEFA Champions League
Actually Rooney's starting on the left and Ronaldo the lone man up front. Hope this works! I'd say it'll be a good game despite Fergie trying to spoil it!

Re: UEFA Champions League
Well just after getting my breath back properly! What a start! Surely there'll be more goals now, but who'll get the third? Arsenal or Utd on the break? Almunia had some save to stop Rooney there.

well like the commentator just said 'if manchester united fail to get through to the champions league final it will be one of the most memorable matches you've ever seen'

Exactly, if that happened it would be an absolute classic. Not a good one for me though! Still very possible for it to be a high scoring game but Arsenal miss out.
I just hope Rooney and Evra don't get booked, just in case Utd do get to the final!

Re: UEFA Champions League
Great play by Man U but (from my p.o.v.)not a very interesting match Arsenal are just lying and taking it.

Re: UEFA Champions League
Just what I was thinking Niamh! Arsenal need 4 goals, now who could get them that! Mind you, I'd like to think the Utd defence would maybe hold him to 2 or so!
