Great to see the excitement for this - and it only the semi stage - and I mean that sincerely. We are in the actual Leinster final on Sunday and I'd say a lot of people know SFA about it.

It could be a sign of our Silverware starved people Jayo.. Good to see though yes. I see Westmeath are at great odds, considering that they came through the hard way beating Laois and Kildare and Meath..

Westmeath are at almost 2/1.. Great price I think. Do you know much about Dublin Jayo could they be contenders if they beat Westmeath?

I don't know a lot about them tbh JS - but needing extra time against Carlow and Louth (no offence to either county Ulster u-21 Championship - Page 3 Icon_redface ) doesn't infer they are world beaters! And Westmeath have a good underage record in recent years.

i think westmeath might just win this one.i hear heslin is the real deal.did that louth team not do well at minor level?and carlow got to a leinster semi, dont think they made the final, but could be wrong.ye mightnt be world beaters but it wouldnt be easy for any team to beat ye.

Ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh…Ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh…

Everybody's high on consolation
Everybody's trying to tell me what is right for me, yeah
My daddy tried to bore me with a sermon
But it's plain to see that they can't comfort me

Sorry, Charlie for the imposition
I think I've got it (got it) I got the strength to carry on, yeah
I need a drink and a quick decision, now it's up to me, oo, what will be

She's gone (she's gone) oh, I, oh, I, I better learn how to face it
She's gone (she's gone) oh, I, oh, I, I'd pay the devil to replace her
She's gone (she's gone) oh, I, what went wrong

Get up in the morning, look in the mirror
One less toothbrush hanging in the stand
My face ain't looking any younger
Now I can see, love's taken her toll on me

She's gone (she's gone) oh, I, oh, I, I better learn how to face it
She's gone (she's gone) oh, I, oh, I, I'd pay the devil to replace her
She's gone (she's gone) oh, I, what went wrong

Think I'll spend eternity in the city
Let the carbon and monoxide choke my thoughts away
And pretty bodies help dissolve the memories
They can never be what she once was to me (was to me)

She's gone (she's gone) oh, I, oh, I, I better learn how to face it
She's gone (she's gone) oh, I, oh, I, I'd pay the devil to replace her
She's gone (she's gone) oh, I, what went wrong

She's gone, oh, oh, I, I'd better learn how to face it
She's gone, she's gone, I can't believe that she's gone
Oh, I, I'd pay the devil to replace her
She's gone, oh, oh, I, I'd better learn how to face it
She's gone, she's gone, I can't believe that she's gone
Oh, I, I'd pay the devil to replace her
She's gone, she's gone, she’s gone, she’s gone (oh I)
She's gone, she's gone, she’s gone, she’s gone
She's gone, she's gone, she’s gone, she’s gone (oh I)
She's gone, she's gone, she’s gone, she’s gone, she’s gone…

I'd like to see Cavan win(even though there is some strange hostility towards Mayo from the Cavan folk, but meh).

C'MON THE BLUES

great great win,we were 1-5 to 0-0 up at one stage so we seem to have plenty of problems, but hopefully we can sort them out by wed and get by donegal.donegal have a very big physical team and can play football.it'll be tight but id say donegal will shade it.ulster final,i cant complain.

Givney lifted cavan big time in the last 10 mins and scored a fantastic winner...
Barry Reilly was good throughout but i felt macenoe at centre back is badly struck for pace and can have no complaints about being send off...

Yeah hardly surprising Givney won it for ye, he's the best midfielder in Ireland at the minute.

Its unfortunate about Jimmy Mc getting sent off, he's an animal of a footballer, his father was a very good half-forward in his day and his uncle was once revered as one of the most feared corner backs in Meath club football ten to twenty years ago.

I hope Cavan win the final to be fair to them. Cavan-Donegal final in Ulster, Sligo-Roscommon final in Connacht, Dublin-Westmeath final in Leinster, and Tipperary beat Kerry in the Munster final. Great competition for the minnows of football.

Some game from Givney for sure he was outstanding throughout the game with his tracking back, fielding, intelligent breaking of the ball and his point at the end was fantastic.

Givney has all the attributes to be a major player.....energetic, physique, acumen...all there..Good luck to Cavan in the final..
