We need a song. I'm sure Patrique has a few Union ballads that we can modify and make our own.

Of course, I've got plenty, we could do with the all support we can get against Derry.

You've already pledged your allegiance to the Breffni Blues sure RMD!
Think Derry will be favourites but if Murphy has his shooting boots on we could well be meeting yous either.

Lads when are we in the semis against that Monaghan crowd? Might take a run up to see what we have coming through and I can borrow MMMs blue wig for the Final too.

Re: Ulster u-21 Championship
Heard nothing concrete on a venue yet Dougal, I've heard anything from a toss-up between Breffni and any of about 3 Monaghan pitches, or even a neutral venue like Brewster Park.
Seen a couple of videos there with highlights of our game, some good attacking play but both goals we conceded were shocking, both a result of poor goalkeeping, 2 different keepers aswell incidentally, the first a badly conceded penalty but both failing to deal with high balls. This will need to be fixed for next wednesday as no doubt Cavan will punish us more than Antrim did.

Only 1 team going to win this folks!! The Oak Leafers will have way too much class for the rest, we've won 2 in a row now and are unstoppable!!

Re: Ulster u-21 Championship
Terry Hyland doesn't have a bad record in Brewster.. A few games on route to the Ulster Final with Lavey were in Enniskillen unless I'm mistaken?
This Cavan team has a lot of the best young talent in the county over the past few years, the 2 McKiernans, Givney, Bud Fitz, Barry Reilly, Rory Dunne... Hopefully now they will break the tradition set by recent Cavan teams and give back to back performances.

quite a good record there as right, had 3 games there last year.some serious underage talent in the county, still have keating to come back from injury along with minagh and o meara, barry watters, would be squeezed into the starting 15 if he was still in the country, and niall murray would be in with a shout as well.such a shame we cant transfer it to senior level.i can see terry getting the senior job before too long.

Re: Ulster u-21 Championship
Givney has a huge role to play in the U21 game.. Hopefully Carr will cop himself on and leave him out.. Hyland does seem like the man to take up the job should Tommy leave sometime soon..

Re: Ulster u-21 Championship
Good news that the games have been put back, I think so anyway! For starters I might actually be able to make the game now(though still not sure), and it also gives a bit of extra rest for our senior players on the u-21s. I don't know about Cavan's players but our 4 senior panellists all started against Mayo last weekend and a couple picked up knocks, so a few extra days of rest is very welcome.
A couple of injuries is the last thing we need now, we're already up against it with the form Cavan is in. I see the Breffni men are 10/11 to win, very generous odds in my eyes..

ulster club final and narrowly lost a hastings cup final without a number of key players against (at very least) provincial finalists,i dont know much about what else he did,but hes the best suited cavan man that i can think of.
