Overcame all sorts of adversity to win the Arc. A champion.
Pity the same can't be said for the whingers in Paris last night. Henry is a champion, a winner, thats why France qualified.

You mean adversity like the time that he had that tick in his neck? And the time that his trainer forgot to give him his oats?
Just another dumb animal. I'll let you figure out who I'm talking about.

Re: Sea the Stars
Looks like our Sports Personality of the Year led Rugby team is going to fail in Paris.
Only Sea The Stars, Mick Kinane and John Oxx could go to Paris and win. Soccer players went over for a whinge and the D4 riddled rugby team is failing miserably too.
Sea The Stars, a champion. An icon of Irishness. Hail Hail Hail.

Urban Sea, the Dam of Galileo and Sea the Stars died after giving birth to this lad. He beat some solid 2YO yardsticks in todays listed race and he looked impressive when Murtagh shook him up. Oxx is notoriously gentle on his first time out 2YOs(Sea the Stars only came 4rth on his debut) so it's no surprise with his regal breeding to see his price slashed for next years classics. Another STS?, could it be possible?
We shall see. He'll run once more this season in the Killavullan Stakes at Leopordstown at the end of October. I expect he'll win that at his leisure and we won't see him again until Newmarket

Re: Sea the Stars
Urban Sea is the best broodmare of the last 20 years in my opinon - her or Better Than Honour. Don't forget Urban Sea is also the dam of Black Sam Bellamy and two other fillies in the nineties who won Group Ones.
Killavullan Stakes is not a bad suggestion - RTE presenters seemed to think it'd be the Beresford Stakes which STS won but that might come a bit soon. Usually takes a good one to win the Killavullan Stakes too.
Mick Kinane thinks as a son of Invincible Spirit, he won't get much more than a mile but certainly the 12/1 for the Guineas is about right. Even for a race as far away as next May.
