Re: Meath and Dublin
Who got Motm?
I thought McAauley had a big game certainly in terms of work rate.
Also Keogan was superb

Rory O'Carroll's rugby tackle on Jamie Queeney in the 55th minute
My problem here is twofold.
1. Queeney was one-on-one with the keeper - O'Carroll gives away the free - the best Meath can hope for is 1 when really they should have had a shot for 3.
2. O'Carroll got a yellow card. Surely he should have been more severly punished.
Herein lies a major problem with the rules. A shot at goal with only the goalie to beat does not equate to a yellow card (late in the game) and a free kick. In an ideal world, where the rules are fair to everyone, then Meath get their shot at goal or else O'Carroll walks.
