Re: Cavan GG News
Well there we have it lads, Cavan has landed it's first piece of silverware for the year in fine style.
Now we just need to get Bronagh Sheridan to show Mickey Brennan and Nicholas Walsh how to take a goal..
Delighted to see Aisling getting the player of the match award, pound for pound one of Cavan's top 5 footballers at any grade.
A little bit disappointed that GT wasn't thanked in the captain's speech but you can't have everything I suppose..

It would appear to me that the contigency margin factored into your pricing matrix could at a minimum be described as robust.
I would request that maybe you could revisit the costing structure using a scenario
that excludes the impact of any "interpretors" and similar "personal translation" services.
Furthermore it is fairly obvious that a venture of this nature provides signifcant scope and oppurtunity for the generation of ancillary income. As you will incur a fixed cost in terms of travel, accomodation and substience alternative income streams would provide greater absorbtion of your fixed costbase and enable more competive pricing of in your core market sectors. Tobacco import is just one product stream that should conisdered as part of the overall venture.

Unfortunately I am not the great man himself!!!
Great to see a forum like this support the county I love. We are long over-due some sort of success for the county team and its great knowing we have alot of new people behind us now! Hopefully this extra new-found support will push the team onto victory against Fermanagh!

What's the news boys? How's Jelly's recovery? Will he be ready for action? How is morale in the camp? Surely we can take Fermanagh handy enough?

Re: Cavan GG News
Seanie thinks he's 50-50 for it so he may not be quite ready for it, although he was brought on as a sub recently in a club game. I still believe we have the pace and skill to beat Fermanagh even without him. Cian Mackey is who Fermanagh should be wary off! Then, if all goes well, Jelly will be back for the Semi-Final!

Re: Cavan GG News
id be almost certain johnston will play some part in the match against fermanagh.still have alot of problems to sort out,FB is a big problem, mossy corr was decent in the league, but let lads slip in behind him far too often,i still think dermot sheridan should be given another go there.midfield partner for givney is a problem aswell, cullivan is getting alot of game time there in challenge matches, but he's not an intercounty midfielder,FF would suit him better.galligan often looks good during the league and fails to produce come championship,he does look to have improved on last year and would be my favourite to join givney.mulvey has improved aswell and looks to have put alot of work into getting fit,but just behind galligan in my opinion.walshe, isnt worth the effort writing anything about him.on paper we have the beating of fermanagh, but,it all depends on team selection and what team shows up on the day.

Re: Cavan GG News
Johnston will play some part against Fermanagh if he is in any way fit.. In my opinion he will start and we need him to start, other than Mackey he is our only other tried and tested scorer at Championship level.
Fermanagh played a terrible league campaign and will be coming into this game and underdogs, being favourites will not suit Cavan and that's why I'm slightly wary of this one. Remember if the Fermanagh tactics weren't completely wrong in this game last year they could have taken us.
TC has attempted to get a level of consistency in the backs so expect to see the Denn fullback line on June 12th. Givney will start midfield, he has brilliant hands and bags of skill but is still not the finished product (as we seen in the U21 semi) so lets hope he can step up to the challenge. I'd rather see Mulvey start in the centre also, he will run himself ragged and Galligan has a habit of letting the game pass him by in the championship.
It will be dogged stuff so we're going to need our free taker to have a good day.
Has anyone else heard that Jayo is back training?? I heard this but surely it's wrong after the row himself and TC had at the end of last year?

Re: Cavan GG News
That was a good game, some great scores by Jelly, a game in which we won by a point if I remember correctly. I met Graham Canty in Australia with the Irish Rules team and he was telling me that Jelly would walk onto any team in the country and he wouldnt forget the mauling Jelly gave him that night - was great to hear that from a player as good as Canty!

Re: Cavan GG News
These are en route from Kiev as we speak. There has been some (understandable) modifications:
1. The front of the gansey will state "GAA Tipster - supporting Cavan".
2. The back of the gansey will say "Down with Soccerball".
3. A "freebie" sort of, will enable Forumites to add "Boxtyeater/Omar says" above the Down with Soccerball logo...
I should have a photo image here really, but the Crane I'd say, is at the turf....
€59.99.........for nothing..
