Kilkenny vs Dublin
Has the makings of a game for at least 35-40 minutes, hard to say after that. This Dublin team has grew up playing with underage teams where beating Kilkenny was perfectly normal so I expect they will go out with a youthful, unfearful approach that other teams wouldn't have. They will surely take the game to the Cats early on.
Obviously, this is the greatest team that ever lived, there is nothing in Kilkenny's armour that is weak. But injuries surely won't help, Hickey is still out, Cha is doubtful and the loss of Brian Hogan at CHB is huge (Tennyson isn't near as good) so that at least helps Dublin's cause.
Still though, we all know Kilkenny, they can turn a game in two minutes (against Galway turned a five point deficit into a two point lead in that space of time). Its hard to see a team like Dublin beating them. It will take a Cork or a Tipperary to do it, I'd like to see Cork up against them, I'd give them a huge chance. Anyway, Kilkenny by 7 or 8 points for me.

i cant agrue with you at all there loyal, only thing i would say is that Galway have more of a chance than cork or tipp but then again if kilkenny hit form nobody will touch them as you say they are the greatest and while some would say that it is ban for the sport i say i am lucky to be around when the greatest team who ever played the game where in there prime, to me its an honour watching them....
as for the dubs i hope they dont get hockyed!!! if they can stay with tem for 5-=60 mins then it will be a huge thing for them....

Loyal there must be something in the water your drinking this morning all nicely nicely. Big difference in beating teams underage than beating them at senior level ask Galway, roscommon, longford, laois.
do agree with the first part i think the first half will be competitive (i hope) but that wil be as good as it gets go the cats a point a man better, 15 point win.

Lovely to see everyone has so much faith in the Dubs...
They'll give the Cats a good game I reckon but they won't keep it up for 70 minutes, in my opinion, Kilkenny hit top form about 50 minutes in, and that is when any team starts getting battered.
Kilkenny by 7.

Re: Kilkenny vs Dublin
I really hope that Kilkenny don't steamroll through Dublin for the most of the game, hopefully the Dubs can make a real game of it and keep up with the Cats for as long as possible. But I can't see anything but a very convincing Kilkenny win. Even if Dublin stay in the game until the hour mark, Kilkenny will pull away and step up the pace a bit, knocking over a few extra scores with ease. They're just an unbelievable team and even with the injuries it's much too big an ask of Dublin.
I reckon Kilkenny by 10 pts +.
