I actually got caught by a speed camera on the way to Slane a couple of years ago but was driving the g/f's car (Uk reg). Nothing came of it but luckily it was a GATSO instead of a garda speed trap as I have an Irish license which could very easily be endorsed.

Worked the other way in the UK though. Got caught speeding and produced the Irish license which the court couldn't endorse.

They just doubled the fine instead.
