Great Value
Just got the tickets from HQ for the only internationals I believe are worth going to see this year in Dublin.
Two games for €25 and kids are €5 each, plus get to see a game in Croker under lights.
Looking forward to the Shinty as haven't attend one of those games in over 10 years.
See the Aussies warmed up in style last night beating a Cork selection by 105 to 12 points and scoring 4 goals (six pointers) in the process.
Role on Sat week.

Are there still lots of tickets left for Croker on the 30th I wonder Jim? Might go if I can still get middling stand tickets..

Re: Great Value
Croker is a sight to behold under lights. Was there for the first leg of the Republics qualifying games v France about a year ago and the spectacle was unreal. I would implore anyone who's not been there for a match under floodlights to check it out, you won't regret it. Hurling league Final should be played there under lights imho

Re: Great Value
I must confess to being mildly surprised by the content of this thread. Enjoy the experience Jim and chaps, be careful where you park and keep your money in your sock and all that.....
On the thread title, I'm pleased to report no ill affects as yet after 8 of the 50 X 500ml. draught Guinness cans I acquired on Tuesday for €20....*
*Out of date by a couple of weeks but what's the worst could happen Draught Guinness for 40c and fags at €3.20 per pack...
I'm preparing for all stringent measures coming down the line by starting with essentials.....

GAA matches under lights are grand alright. We had two great occasions there against the greatest county ever to play football ...

We had two great occassions against a shower of bottlers too Jayo - we give them a head start both times and still won
Seriously though Croker under lights is impressive - thoroughly enjoyed both occassions and it should definitely be used more often.

Re: Great Value
I'll tell ya whats **** value too. Autumn Internationals! €80 per ticket for the first two games - then a ton each for the last two. 4 friendlies will set ya back €360! I was gonna tell my man - nah **** it - but I asked would attendance guarantee a 6 Nations ticket - he answered in the affirnative. The moosus will be told that the November tickets are gifts - for harmony's sake.
