Great Administrators of the GAA.... Empty Great Administrators of the GAA....

I'ts all too often we hear about "useless hoors" on County Boards, so here's a thread to acknowledge those officials who have given their time to the promotion of all that's great about the organisation, in all it's varying aspects:

I'll start:

Great Administrators of the GAA.... Images31

Surely 30 odd years as Cork secretary, never looked beyond the Rebel county...Frank Murphy..a legend..

Liam Mulvihill. Way ahead of everyone in moving the GAA forward in demanding times. Worked quietly and was one of the main movers in developing Croke Park. Stayed in the background and never claimed credit for achievements which far outweigh others who did. Very Happy

While reading that I was waiting for the punchline, but it never came confused

Without mentioning him, I suspect that RKF has better summed up Mr Kelly, as I would remember him. And, yes, no small amount of credit due the excellent Liam Mulvihill.

I think RMDs standing has gone up 200 hundred fold in the last two days. His strict vetting of posts has ensured that the previous drivel has not seen the light of day. A few have snuck in but tis early days yet. The quantity might be down but by golly the quality has increased hugely. Boxty is gone and Samin knows the score - things are looking up!

Well done that man!
