Re: Radio Teilifis na hEireann
now now Loyal, RTE are in the profit making business. Rugby would bring in probably 10 times the viewers racing would, if not more.
Its all about the money Loyal.....its all about the money!
oh and they were dead right by the way!!!

Just heard the hardy bucks got paid €8,000 by rte to do another episode. That should be good.

No less than six RTE employees on the Late Late Show last night.
Honestly, you couldn't make it up.
Why do they bother?

Re: Radio Teilifis na hEireann
What a f**king joke from the state broadcaster again, shower of ****s should be shot. Imagine paying a TV licence for that kind of shambolic coverage. Cameras at Tipperary/Sligo, Cavan/Wicklow, Wexford/Roscommon but none at Meath/Westmeath. What the **** is all that about? These guys wouldn't run a f**king bath, how the **** are they supposed to run a TV station, clowns.
I really wanted to see Joe Sheridan's point of the year again and these stupid ***ts haven't even a camera there, clueless retards. I WANT TO SEE JOE'S POINT AGAIN, WHERE CAN I SEE IT?

Loyal - I agree with you on this. And they had the hurling first - yet both games they had on live today and yesterday. And they spend 15 mins on GAA/GPA. They always had a camera at every game but I reckon the fact that they are wasting so much money on other 'quality' stuff means they reckon they can't afford to do it anymore.

Its the footballing world I feel sorry for, missing Joe's point, it was so John Fenton - esque. Ball on the ground and Joe pulls on it from 40 yards and in a cloud of smoke the ball took off, Roberto Carlos wouldn't have struck it such power and it just went an inch over Gary Connaughtan's bar. We call Joe; "The Rocket" Sheridan now.

Re: Radio Teilifis na hEireann
Loyal you can see Joe's point in the match replay section on the RTE website. Think he got it around the 55th minute, think Callinan laid it off to him.

Re: Radio Teilifis na hEireann
Its an awful pity the GAA public won't get to see "The Rocket" Sheridan's point. Not since the Geraghty exhibition in 2005 have I seen such an amazing point.

Can you still get 4 on demand. I used to be able to get it but since they have moved it to the website I can't.
