Sean Boylan, Meath's most sucessful manager who lead the county to 4 All Irelands, is in line to be the new Director of Football for county Meath.

The county delagates will ratify him to this new role at the county board meeting on Monday. If this is made official he will have an input into coaching, development and a say in the senior football team whom he spent 23 years managing.


Personally I'm delighted to see this appointment as his involvement in the county can only be a positive.

Woofty stuff like that cuts no ice here.....copy and paste from some meaningless media organ is pixx-poor participation....

There are/is expoutants or regurgiatory forces here whose credibility has sunken to sub zero by adhering to this formula...

Meath really have fallen backwards a chance to get rid of banty,and you fail

Banty owns a pub/nightclub in Athboy and who has he managing and running it? Yeah Geraghty...his return to the panel is seen by most in the county and by Harnan etc as a ploy to get GG back in the public eye and hence get greater publicity and business for the boozer

Once their business connection emerged it was the reason for the walkout and why its been seen as such a bad call all over Mordor!!

This fool really wants Meath to do well..

Its fooking laughable really...

I still think bringing him back was a good idea..
