Re: Champions League 2009
It'll be another boring 2 games, the two teams know each other inside out by now.
Hope Liverpool win.

Incredibly, that was actually a very entertaining half. Both teams playing positive for a change. Level at half time just about right.
Barca are scarily good, 4-0 up at HT.

I'vean accumulator on of l'pool to win and barca to win with a handicap of -2 so the reds better get their fingers out!! Steve G isn't at the races tonight, Kuyt havin a good game.

Yeah Liverpool a better bet to win than Chelsea but it's still got draw written all over it! Don't think the second half will be as open unfortunately, probably be more tight and teams counter-attacking. Kuyt doing good alright, great flick in the build up to the goal and unlucky not to grab one himself at the end. Brutal defending for Chelsea goal though.
What odds did you get on that by the way?

Theres no way they can keep up that pace, can see Drogba getting himself sent off by doing something stupid through frustration. Good to see Kalou wasn't too badly hurt as well, looked nasty. Ashley cole was a bit rough on Torres thon time I thought should have been a free in, Cole is so hated gets booed everytime he gets it, no sympathy for him though, can't stand him!
Its just over 8/1 when i made the bet, also have Stevie G to score 2 goals and Liverpool 3-1 at 21/1, could be done

Aye hate Cole myself, thoroughly unlikeable chap! Always whinging and generally being a little bollix! And having a wife like that and then cheating on her, what is he at!?
Frantic start to the second half too, still a cracker.

Re: Champions League 2009
Oh Lord what a poor showing, Liverpool didn't turn out at all the 2nd half (Stevie G turned up for the toss and that was about the height of it) last 25 minutes Liverpool made mistake after mistake. Torres was quiet after the goal. Only players showed for Liverpool were in my opinion, Kuyt and Carra and maybe Skurtle at a push, Xabi, Stevie G Torres etc not next nor near it. Think Robbie Keane could have made a different the night, damn you Rafa....
Can't see 3-0 at stamford bridge, but I think the cups for Barca anyway, staying in til the semis will just prolong the agony. The way all teams are playing (except maybe chelsea) Bara will rip them to shreds United included.
