Just how good a gaelic footballer was he and how good could he have been if he stuck with it instead of heading off to England in the late 70's....

Was an outstanding footballer. Attacking centre half back. Had already made it before going to England.

I am aware that he had a couple of A/I medals and an all star, given the fact he won 70+ caps with Ireland in the soccer in a time when we had an abundance of decent centre halves it was no mean feet....How much of a legacy would he have had if he stuck with the Gaelic
