Games over four quarters
What do the hurling lads think of the experiment of playing 4 quarters of 15 minutes each for the League games with a short break after one and three and a longer one at half time. They will also change ends at each quarter.
Must be for more ads at the breaks - not sure I like it but can see them bring it in for Champo - and the football. Cody and Ryan not impressed apparently. It will also scupper some of Davey's cliches - 'it was a game of two halves', 'we never got motoring in the 2nd half', etc., etc.

Re: Games over four quarters
That's an absolutely terrible idea.
Breaks are completely not required to the players. It would ruin the flow of the game and, if it is 4x 15 minutes that means ten minutes less playing time for a senior game - less for the spectator to enjoy.
The game of hurling is not broken. Don't fix it.
Are they actually doing this?

I think a ban is definitely in order for taking advantage of extremely busy out-of-the-loop Yorkshire people...
