In the light of his 70 odd posts to date, it is Boxty's opinion, in the light of inputs of new inductees, that this bluearmy, should he choose to broaden his contributions to this forum, could be a valuable addition here.
The Puke, on the other hand, is what he is, a bog-warrior, immersed in tribal issues and subject to defying bouts of paranodical postings.....

Doesn't seem like 80 odd posts ago when we were all going at it over the St Colman's supporters at the Hogan Final.....

Who are these St.Colman's crowd that you speak of??..Bucks from Newry.
Mind you, I played against them in a Hogan cup semi-final in Navan in about 1966, when Val Kane was the biggest emerging secondary schools footballer of his era.
Willie Mulvihill (Liam Mulvihill, former Gen Sec.) held him scoreless...Downman, any memories of said Val Kane?????

My only memories of Val Kane involve him trying to convert me into an Abbey man in P7 but thankfully another former great at schools level, Mickey Doyle, made sure I would be heading to Violet Hill and not Courtenay Hill.

It is indeed an ill-wind that blows no good. Who would have thought that the invading hoards from the Hogan Cup would have brought anything worthwhile to this forum, but they did.
Some fine posts Bluearmy and, as Boxty suggests, would be good to see you debate on more non-Mourne matters also. A worthy addition to the site, even if his definition of 'great' is more liberal than most!
