Re: Greatest race ever
Loved the one between the red car and the blue car.
And the human one is pretty cool too.

Re: Greatest race ever
Great race alright, mossbags. Wonder how Master Minded would cope with them but back then, it really was a golden age for Champion Chasers. The three of them were all champions in their own right.
For me, the 2005 Champion Hurdle will be hard to beat and Mark Johnson roaring "He's laughing at his rivals" and then after that, it dosen't quite according to plan for Harchi. Unfortunetely that race isn't on YouTube.
The 2006 Hong Kong Cup was a thriller as was the 2000 BC Classic when Kinane dropped the reins and the Iron Horse had to succumb to one that was even more of an iron horse. And the 2006 QEII was spectacular too for two reasons, 1. George back to his best and 2. Dettori, O'Brien, Heffernan, Godolphin, Coolmore fallout. 2006 Cox Plate pretty memorable. All great races and I also benefitted from one or two finiacially too.

Interesting to note the jockeys riding style in those days.
