Where Now For Tyrone.............
Lads and lassies news has just come to me that there is a serious problem within the Tyrone camp, one which has the potential to derail any hope of capturing the All Ireland this year. It is causing deep division amongst the squad and could ultimately see the break-up of this great side.
The problem is that now the City West Hotel has gone in to administration the squad are worried that it may cease to exist shortly and are looking to change their booking for the 3rd weekend in September. Some are looking to go to the Burlington whilst others are hankering after a move to Carlton House for the celebrations.
Anyone any advice/suggestions which would help in preventing this stand off before if gathers momentum.
Thanks in advance from Bocerty, Thomas Clarke, Mugsys_Barber, Red-hand-man

Re: Where Now For Tyrone.............
It might be better if they avoid the Regency as the Dublin players may be staying there the night before they play in the Final .........

Re: Where Now For Tyrone.............
Bocerty, This indeed is a very worrying development. I was wondering would a system work similar to that organised by the Feile whereby the host county (ie Dublin) provide accomodation for the participating counties by opening up their homes to supporters of the teams. (Most likely to be Tyrone and either Cork or Kerry this year).
It would be a whole new experience for some Tyrone supporters who've never had the experience of night in a high rise flat/compartment in the Northern part of the city. Although I'm sure there are several stories floating about regarding previous experiences from college or from celtic tiger construction workers, especially after frequenting south of the river nightclubs such as Coppers

The Recession will be long over, the City West will have been knocked down by the Sinn Fein majority government, but rebuilt by the Fianna fail/DUP coalition government, a mere twenty years after the declaration of a United Ireland, before Tyrone need a booking on that weekend.
Sono need to worry, although your grand children might need to.

you'll not need to worry anyway Pat - hell will freeze over (with you in it in all likelihood) before Antrim need it

After 15 minutes of the Antrim V Carlow game many had cause to call the parentage of the ref into question.
This of course so led to calls for neutral referees, not from one of the participating counties, condemnation of all Staters, and a call for a N.Ireland championship, which is when my friend came out with our new catch phrase "keep hurling British".
So you are right, if things go to plan we will not need it.
Mind you, at least we are still in the championship.
