Dublin v Wexford
I have to be honest and say I expect us to hand the Wexicans a tonking. I think the style will be radically different than previously and hope it is not gone too negative. If B Brogan maintains his league form there is not a back in Ireland that will hold him. Be afraid Jimbo - be very afraid ...

No Alan B is a bit of a surprise but you mentioned that before. Agree re Bastick - temperament too dodgy - makes him a liability.

Alan B is carrying an injury...i like the look of the half forward line.. .. And lets hope the full back line works out he really needed to change that....Just get this game out of the way and move on.. Hopefully we have plenty options on bench it looks strong to me..
Won't take a lot to win Leinster

Re: Dublin v Wexford
Not afraid really as this game will go one of two ways us beating ye by a point or three or ye beating us by 15 plus. it really is one of those games.
Expect Mattie to be on the 40.
Midfield could really be our achilles heel still waiting confirmation on the team.
If we can exploit that Dub full back line, they will all be under serious pressure ( all making there debut) in front of a packed hill and possibly close to a full house.
There will only be max 5000 from Wexford with that figure closer to 2000.
Bo****ing around with the family tickets not helping either, only allowed two children tickets per adult now absolute b****x, don't even know if we will go who do I leave behind (question to me not ye lot, I would be bring 4 kids all under 16)!!!

i know brogans carrying an injury, but hadnt played much league at all , and im liking the way gilroys makin ya work for a place on the team, not just because of who ya are. Might boot him up the ****. Sometimes he comes out and places crap and doesnt pass , pure glories, because hes alan brogan. Bernard can be the same sometimes. Am i makin any sense?!

Re: Dublin v Wexford
Its hard too see anything but a dublin win but as last week showed us nothing is impossible.
although wexford will keep up for 40-50 minutes a double figure win for dublin could be expected !! I hope for the Leinster championship sake it isnt

Re: Dublin v Wexford
I wonder were GaaTipster's Dubs among those booing their own side off at half time.
Dublin actually look worse than they did last year against Kerry, and the year before against Tyrone. 6 points is a decent lead in these conditions.
Some phenomenal free-kicking from Forde & Barry.

Forde is taking some physical tackling from Dublin.
Dublin look worse than what Armagh did the other week! If Wexford press on and hammer Dublin I think Gilroy will be leading the sack race.
Re: Dublin v Wexford
Very impressive showing by Wexford here, dominating the Dubs all over. Dublin's tactics are baffling, and they don't look up for it at all. Wexford certainly the far hungrier team while Dublin look void of ideas at the moment. Some great free-taking by Forde and Barry indeed, Barry in particular off the ground is a joy to watch.
Will be very interesting to see how the Dubs react now in the second half, will they come out and turn it around against a confident, flying Wexford side or will they drop the heads? Alot of work to be done as Wexford won't lie down and let Dublin come back into it.

Re: Dublin v Wexford
Things going from bad to worse from Dublin, the shooting is terrible and when Brogan gets the ball he's trying to do it on his own. If Wexford keep the scoreboard ticking over with the odd point every so often it's going to be extremely difficult for Dublin to get back. They'll need a goal I think.
As TC says it's not the weather to be coming back from a sizeable deficit.

Re: Dublin v Wexford
Fair play Dublin, some turnaround, the goal topped off the comeback and now Dublin are flying. Only a point up but Wexford don't look threatening enough. They need something big in the next few minutes or Dublin will have snatched it.

Re: Dublin v Wexford
We BLEW it big time.
Funny our experience stood to us in the first half but our inexperience of closing it out against the big teams (especially the dubs) went against us in the second half.
Only one team was going to win it in ET the Dubs.
Gutted is the only word but the fitter team won in the end so can't have no complaints

Re: Dublin v Wexford
No All-Ireland in that Dublin team....Without the 2 Brogans and Keaney they're hopeless.
They are notorious high tacklers as their haul of cards show..indiscipline and the lack of a decent freetaker will be their downfall yet...
