Good god RM there's a lot of double meaning stuff there - but I'm not into that! I had to stick a French drain in a previous garden which was compacted builders sh1te 6 inches down. I planted a couple of ferns and they thrived and improved things considerably!

I'm off for the next 3 months I plan on going to Mayo to work on the farm, head up to Sligo(beautiful place near Ben Bulben) and stay with a few cousins. I've the bus tickets booked to Croke Park for the 22nd of August I'm doing a first aid course, climbing the Reek in July, doing work with Cancer Care West, playing in a golf tournament in July etc.
You might get a chance to see some of the country now Essie .....

______________
very similar checklist to my own.
Patio area in particular
After much careful planning - assement of upcoming vaction periods, review of almanac for weather forecasts, costing of van hire for carraige of patio materials - costing of equipment hire for digger/mixer and skip hire - contingency planning for impact of hitting drains or ESB cables, in addition to assessment of impact on mental well being of frustration at inability to start hired machinery, foregoing of Friday night beers to ensure clear head for work, cost of sundry gifts for father, brother to assist in project, risk of inlaw ridicule at poor workmanship, world cup schedules, slight risk of a championship run etc etc - late yesterday afternoon Omar came to a brave calculated decision and he elected to lift the phone and subcontract.
