Leeds are more famous for their hooligans than for their football Essie. That is well known in footballing circles.

I see they lost in the end by 1 goal to nil. I'm not a soccerball fan by any means, nor am i a big fan of Leeds United but they, along with Norwich City and Charlton are more befitting of a bigger stage than the third tier of English football.

Nice to see Norwich and delia doing well, especially as they lost the first game 7-1.

In the hooligan heyday the big names were all from London. Millwall, Man United and Chelsea.

After that Leeds and a few culchies but it was mostly Londoners.

Aye P - Man Utd were among the very worst too ... but sure global image rules now ... OK?

They were nothing on West Ham, Millwall, Leeds or even Rangers for that matter Jayo. Liverpool had a tasty firm in the old days too, all worse than United, they thought they were a tough firm but more often than not they got the sh1te kicked outta them. Cardiff & the 2 Bristol teams had very nasty elements too!

QPR are bad for this. Everytime they played at Coventry parts of the city centre had to be closed off.

I think clubs such as Fulham, Portsmouth, Burnley, Hull, Wigan and Wolves don't have a big enough fan base to be able to support a premier league club financially. Clubs like Newcastle and Leeds do but through poor management have found themselves in the lower divisions.
