The Phychological effect of losing 2 All-Ireland Finals in a row
Tipp might well lose their 2nd Final in a row to Kilkenny and Im concerned that the traumatic effect it would have on their players, not to mention their supporters mental well-being would leave them in a dark and fragile place, a rut that would probably take decades to emerge from. We have all seen what happened to Mayo after they lost all them All-Irelands and I am very worried that something similar may be about to occur to the good people of Tipperary.

Not sure about this theory Moss. The Cats lost in 98 and 99 before winning in 2000 (and 02, 03), your own beloved Galway lost in 85 and 86 before coming back to win in 87 and 88 and then Cork lost in 82 and 83 before winning in 84 (and 86).
In football Cork lost in 87, 88 before stitching back to back wins in 89 and 90.

I think maybe the point moss is getting at is Tipp are such a young team and whats the mental strength like if they did lose 2 All Irelands in a row. Losing to their arch rivals wouldnt be good either.

Losing two finals in a row is the end, the death knell.
Antrim NEVER recovered from successive defeats to Cork and Louth in 1911 and 1912.
On the other hand Kilkenny have lost 4 games in 11 years since they lost two in a row.........
