Re: World Cup Final
sounds like it was a good game between Tipp and Dublin last night with Tipp winning 1-20 to 1-17. Great to see Seamus Callanan made a good impact when he came on, crucial player for Tipperary this year.

Galway are the Walsh cup champions. With Portumna now in the club final Galway hurling looks to be on the way up.

I always love to see Portumna in the Final. We have a couple of connections with the club and players, and they're very hard workers and so talented. 'Tis the one time a suppose I'd go for a Galway club team, apart from the local one.

Well done to the lads. Its all about squad development this time of year both no harm in picking this up along the way. Do you know if David Collins played today Clash?
Portumna v Ballyhale on Paddys day. Might be a decent match, this.

I listened to it on the radio and I don't think David Collins played. Tony Og seemed to have a good game at centre half back in his preferred postion as did Joe Gantly and Ger Farragher. I'd expect Joe Canning to play centre half forward this year with Joe Gantly in full forward.
