Interesting Statistic..
In achieving the 4 in a row in 2009, Kilkenny played a total of 18 Championship matches over the 4 year period.
Two players played every minute of every match..
Who are the two players??

Tommy Walsh is a good bet-but wasn't he substituted in a Leinster Final a few years ago? Henry Shefflin would be a good bet also-but no Kilkenny player has played for every minute of every match for the four-in-a-row!

When you've finished with snowmen could you check your purse and see if you've got a spare €100 you might like to wager.

Sorry to hear of your bad news Boc lad. How's the second lad doing? These are baxtard's of things to happen to families, friends and communities. We had it ourselves here before the Christmas and it's a wrenching experience. They are in my thoughts and prayers Bocerty....
No to your answer. Kavanagh, however holds the record for the most starts in the same position. 16 out of 17 starts in the No. 2 jersey...

thanks Boxty - two of the lads died Boxty i coached one of them a few years back, the other lad i know most of his family very well and a nicer bunch of people you wouldnt meet, the father is big into his Irish music, the third is critical in Belfast - he was the driver so i dont imagine he's in good shape. Funerals are Sunday and Monday - its a devastating blow for the club...........

Come on folks...wave some money at me. The hurling section of this forum needs a vigorous shake up.
I'm beginning to come to the opinion that discussion on soccerball should be BANNED entirely to enable us discuss matters relating to hurling...

Boxty, you know you're my favourite Leitrim poster(!), but No Kilkenny player played every minute, every match for the four-in-a-row. Walsh came close, but as I said-he was subbed. Shefflin was close too!
