Did you know......
....when you see a statue of someone on horseback, if the horse has all 4 legs on the ground the person on it died of natural causes. If the horse has one of it's front legs in the air, the person died from their injuries after battle. If the horse has both front legs in the air, then the person on it died in battle!
....the Titanic cost around $6.5 million to build, the film cost $600 Million!!!
....your left lung is smaller than your right one!
....Derry will win the 2010 All Ireland Senior Football Championship!

Re: Insert Your Interesting Facts Here.....
BE cotradict you there ,
Te one regarding the horse is as they say an urban legend much like socrates playing soccer for a team in Dublin.
Wexford were the first county to
1. win 6 leinster titles in a row
2 win 4 all ireland title in a row
3 where the first county to compete for the hurling and football in the same year
4 were the first county to lose the double as well, re above
We got our nickname The "model" county
(really because of our good looks????)
due to Farming yes thats right farming, Farmers in Wexford were the most advanced in Ireland at the time that the rest of the country "modelled" there farming methods on what was been carried out in the real sunny south east.
Also all modern techniques would of been tried and test in Wexford at the time to see that the where ok to be carried out.
Our other nickname 2the yellowbellies" came from an English royal think it was quenn liz 1 (not to sure) after Ceaser Coaleagh (of Tintern Abbey) brought a team of hurling over to cornwall to play an exhibition game for the aforementioned royal.
to differeniate between the teams those from Wexford wore a yellow stach around there midriff and hence the name the yellowbellies.
From above we were the first county to promote the game of hurling and also we were the first national gaa team as well.

Re: Insert Your Interesting Facts Here.....
Your heart doesn't pump blood back from your feet as, by time your blood has reached your feet, the pressure has pretty much disappeared. Instead the muscles in your legs squeeze your veins and push blood upwards kinda like toothpaste being pushed from a tube. Your veins have little valves in them that stop the blood from flowing backwards.
Thes veins are also used when someone gets a bypass. So it's important that the doc makes sure that the valves are removed or that they are oriented in the correct direction.
