Should width of goalposts be increased for Division 4 teams?
Presently it's 3.75m inside post to inside post - I propose widening it to 6.75m.
Some of the shooting on offer in this Division 4 final has been terrible to say the least. The kick passing is also of a similiar standard. Donie Shine and Brian Kavanagh have been amongst the worst culprits. As I type this, a Longford forward has just converted a 20m free dead in front of the goals - best point of the game.

Longford finding their stride now and Kavanagh with two fine scores is threatening to give an exhibition.
Roscommon on their hand continue to mis-fire.

Re: Should width of goalposts be increased for Division 4 teams?
Roscommon looked like a team that have their eye focussed on the visit to Gaelic Park in a fortnight. They never put in a tackle or a challenge of any sort and appeared happy enough to return to Division 3 next year as table toppers. O'Donnell spared his "big names" ie. Kilbride and Shine by withdrawing both of them.
Longford, on the other hand, saw some merit in battling for whatever reward (cup, medals) were on offer but don't look like a team that will be playing competetive football in July. That said, Paul Barden continues to give it his all and on the back of this facile victory I'm sure they won't give in to Laois without a battle.
Hopefully the next encounter will prove better fare.

Conor Lynam is a class act.. Other than that this is an extremely poor match.

Battling performance from Louth. There will be no Leinster final appearance for them this year, poor and all as the standard is in Leinster.
Paddy Keenan, despite shooting a few handy wides, was a deserving MOTM.
It's at moments like this that memories of that fine Louth poster,Joseff, whom RMD chased off, come to mind..
If you're out there Joseff... to you.
