NFL Final (Div 1) Excuses thread.....
I said I'd start this thread before the weekend to condense all excuses here:
Possibilities are....

The key score came from O leary turning the ball over and carrying it in to the half forward line- He shouldn't have even been on the pitch at that stage

4. It was Christy Cooney's fault, with all that talk about splitting the county in two. Ruined the team spirit we had built up.

No other county brings to the GAA what we do.. The whole country is against us and that takes it's toll...

7. The ref should never have started the game on time. If our full support had been there at throw in, the others would never have scored those 2 early goals...

There are six changes in personnel from the draw with Galway last time out as Stephen Cluxton returns between the posts, Michael Fitzsimons comes in for Nicky Devereux at corner-back, Barry Cahill moves to wing-back as Michael Macauley joins Denis Bastick at midfield with Paul Casey and Sean Murray losing out in the reshuffle. Up fron Kevin McManamon and Tomás Quinn return to action with Pat Burke and the suspended Alan Brogan losing out.
