What are ur county grounds like at half time??
Wexford is facing a delima, well not really but if our worldly wise county board have there way there will be a fence erected arround the playing area.
The reason why-Insurance, there is that dirty word again.
Problem Kids go onto the pitch at half time and the reasoning is that someone will get clattered by a big ole(98!!) grown up. Think there may be a case or two pending.
But the question I am asking is
1. winning numbers for Euromillions this Friday night so I can go meet old in the stores!!
2. Are the pitches in your county invaded a half time by these "pesky kids" or is just a Wexford problem which it our county board wants to made out as??
3 Would Mystery Inc slove this case?

Parnell is thronged with kids at halftime - and often pucking a sliothar around - so someone could easily get a belt but no Maors or anyone seem to mind. Its great to see the kids having a bit of crack. And the amazing thing is how quickly they all get off when the teams come back on!

I have to say Omagh's pitch has a fence around it so during county games no one gets on - though during club championship matches its a different story.
During the Tyrone Westmeath game in the league earleir in the year i remember quite a few kids on with hurleys pucking about - a young cub of about 2 who was kicking football with his father almost got the head took off him with a sliothar

I remember the qualifier (against Westmeath too) and a fella got an AWFUL belt altogether - I though he was dead. Rolled around in agony and then lay lifeless! But as soon as the Westmeath man got the red card he was up in a flash ........

Omagh is one of the best grounds I have been to in a long time, the stand is some job.

I don't think so! The lad who lifted Sam was foreign as far as I know and judging by his speech.

Re: What are ur county grounds like at half time??
This country is nearly turning into America with all the lawsuits. That supposedly why they tried to stop supporters coming onto the pitch after an All Ireland final, they get a load of claims from supporters who twisted an ankle or something.
In Pearse Stadium they usually let them on at half time. Its the older lads hitting sliotars into the goal from the 45 that cause problems because you usually have somebody in goal looking somewhere else and then sees it late.
