Since the GAA Tipster public aren't going to be informed about this on going investigation into whatever it is that is supposed to have happened, it is inevitable that other users will speculate. Here are the FACTS I have so far gathered:

LilMaighEo deleted her account. It is as of yet unknown why but Admin has already said "its got something to do with PMs". Therefore, I presume something nasty and unacceptable was said. Who said it and what they said remains a mystery as far as I am aware. Although it appears it was pretty bad since LilMaighEo deleted her account as did Redemption not long after. EstherMayo1951 then had her PM disabled as a result of the incident and judging by RMDrive and JayoCluxton's posts on the matter, it appears to have been pretty serious.

Two other lesser known facts which may or may not be related are:
1. Liamwalkinstown is no longer a moderator
2. The user aidoinho appears to have his PMing disabled too.

In summation, I would really like to know what all this is about.

Don't know but if you look on page 7 of the member list, he's there. And I'm not allowed send him a PM.

Well I'm completely in the dark myself, seems like there's no point in asking about it though as we'll not be told anything!

I do not know what has happened either BE. All I know is contained in my previous post in this thread:

This is primarily a GAA website. Admin and moderators endeavour to monitor content and manage the site in a responsible fashion in order that users may get full benefit and enjoyment from the site.

From time to time issues may arise which have to be dealt with by Admin and/or Moderators. This is common on such forums.

Sometimes these issues may be sensitive and are not dealt with in a public sphere.

However if there are issues which may affect other posters then they would be informed accordingly.

Constant speculation and innuendo do not help. Such matters will be dealt with properly and responsibly by the relevant guardians of the site.

As the Championship starts this weekend it would be good if posters could concentrate on this - after all it was the reason the site started.

It has to do with spamming on boards.ie.

Seems to have done more harm than good and given the website a bad name on their anyway.

Cheers for that Loyal, kinda cleared somethings up.

While i respect the notion that we should concentrate on the Championship starting this weekend, it is after all a game netween New York & Mayo so i don't think it'll be the cause for too much discussion.

I do feel, however that the speculation will never die especially when some people seem to know more than others, not including Admin, and this will continue to be the case until we get bigger numbers or bigger numbers of posters givng more debate on proper GAA matters.

I have to say i have noticed a drift on here lately, the number of posts in the last week have not been that great, and if a poster has been suspended for trying to get more people involved (i was under the impression that this had been dealt with) then that is what i find slightly saddening.

As for the rest, I don't like being a mushroom!

BE - no one has been suspended for trying to recruit new users contrary to speculation.

As has been said umpteen times this is an issue that is being dealt with by Admin and no one else needs to know about it.
