Ok folks time to see how much we all know about Gaelic football/hurling. For the purposes of the thread you are the manager of your county's senior football/hurling team and you preparing for the first round of the championship in a few weeks.

What are your tactics going to be for the match, what game plans you have in mind, what are your teams stengths and what weaknesses are you going to try to exploit in your opponents???

i think after wexfords leaague they need to get back to basics and play a few games against the weaker division 3 teams and build up a momentum of 4or5wins thats what there success was biult on last year a winning mentality(and luck) i think if theybget back to this they will improve greatly from the league. i have a few positional and personal changes in mind but nothing to major.

Tippery vs. Cork - replay last year's fixture cheers to inspire the boys, remind them how tedious the strike got and organise a few challenge matchs against strong lower tier teams like Offally, Wexford....and Clare Laughing

My team would look something like this...

Hearty

A.Mallon B.Dongahy F.Moriarity

P.Duffy C.McKeever (c) K.Toner

C.Vernon P.Loughran

M.O'Rouke S.McDonnell A.Kernan

K.O'Rouke R.Clarke B.Mallon

Obviously id have to try and get Paul Duffy and Phillip Loughran back into the team.

That would probarbly be the strongest team Armagh can field in this years championship.
