I've delayed announcing the winning team, for the simple reason that it hasn't yet been established. There is a tie at goalkeeper and full-back, and I'm hoping that someone will break these deadlocks. GAA-Fan hasn't yet voted for a keeper, so that could help there.

You're too kind, but i'll accept the compliment - and by all means question! Yes, I've been picking on Hoganstand also, but it is well out of control at this stage, unfortunately. What is your username there?

Yeah, Canavan moved to the corner in later years but, to be honest, he was well past his exalted best by the turn of the century. I remember him playing very well in a well beaten side against Down in the 1994 Ulster final.

My username there is peter_venkman but I decided to depart from my ghostbusting alter-ego in favour of a moniker more akin to my footballing philosophy. Are you Thomas Clarke on the other side too?

Weird, I had a feeling that you were going to say that is who you were - consistency of views between both pseudonyms (or maybe it was just the Venkman name stands out - great movie!).

Yeah, I'm Thomas Clarke - have been posting there for a decade now, although I'd post quite a bit more often on here. This is a good forum, and the site has much more functionality than HS (quotes, pictures, videos, private messages etc), but it just needs a few more posters. Hopefully your arrival will herald the start of an influx Smile
