Exactly. You sponsor for various reason or a combination of them - you have money to spend and you love your county, you want to be associated with the team/s, you want to promote your product etc. It does not give you input or a management role.
if Morgan knew so much about Gaelic football and was looking an input why didn't he manage the team himself.
From speaking to a few Armagh men only this morning it seems this story has more to it than would meet the eye, seems Morgan had the county board by the scrotum for along time.

There are a few rumors going around, Morgan Fuels is being taken to court, Morgan Fuels has financial difficulties,
My money would be on the old rumor from a few years back, Peter McDonnell has said it, and by his own admission Morgan has admitted to interfering with the team. We known the story that Grimley was overlooked for the manager's job twice and I think it has something to do With Kernan and Morgan. It is odd that Morgan has withdrew sponsorship not long after Grimley was appointed manager.
Was pleased with the statement made by Armagh CB, none of this trying to score points. Morgan is the one that looks bad after all of this.
