Re: Champions League 2012/2013
For those who haven't seen the groups they are:
Group A: Porto, Dynamo Kiev, Paris St Germain, Dinamo Zagreb
Group B: Arsenal, Schalke, Olympiakos, Montpellier
Group C: AC Milan, Zenit St Petersburg, Anderlecht, Malaga
Group D: Real Madrid, Manchester City, Ajax, Borussia Dortmund
Group E: Chelsea, Shakhtar Donetsk, Juventus, FC Nordsjaelland
Group F: Bayern Munich, Valencia, Lille, BATE Borisov
Group G: Barcelona, Benfica, Spartak Moscow, Celtic
Group H: Manchester United, Braga, Galatasaray, CFR Cluj
Potential there for some cracking games - Chelsea v Juventus, all the games in group D, Porto v PSG Bayern v Valencia. Anyone fancy running a predictions competition?

Man City gone at this stage and Mancini on borrowed time too. What odds would you get on Guardiola being in charge before long?

Mancini a spoofer of the highest regard. Dunno if Guardiola would move to Ingerland?

Great win for Celtic last night, they rode their luck at times but the keeper made some outstanding saves.
Goes to show even ***** managers get lucky from time to time!!!!!

The stats were incredible. Barca had 89% of possession, and 955 passes to 193.
Still, Celtic got the goals, and that's what counts. A great result, and Rod in floods of tears was priceless!

thats it not much point owning the ball if you cant stick the fecking thing in the net. Their stats were something similar last year against Chelsea in the semi final but they got beat there too.

Celtics squad cost £15m, Chelsea's £350m, Man City £450m and only Celtic qualified!

A bunch of jokers is what is filtering through to Boxty's ears. An extremely dubious "hometown decision" was it ??:
Naturally, I eschew these televised spectacles, so am in no position to be overly caustic, but the verbiage being spewed on other fora by Celtic supporters, camouflaging themselves under IRA/Tricolour/Anti Brit flags is nauseating in the extreme..
Referring to them as "we" is stretching it a bit as well, given that, as far as I can comprehend, these "Celts" are of, in the main, of Romany or Bolshevic extraction....FFS.
Subject to correction, but weren't 10 of the 11 "Lisbon Lions" born within 10 miles of Parkhead.....But still, Jimmys winning matches.

Re: Champions League 2012/2013
AC at 20s - Barca at 9/2 - with AC 2-0 up in first leg!!! Wow! Seems crazy to me.
Incidentally Celtic are 1,000/1 to win the Champs League .. which is the exact same price you will get on Fr Dougal Maguire becoming the next Pope ....
