Great game, huge intensity a la 09/10. Rice out, Shefflin not in it, Fennelly crocked. Tipp should pull away now
Good call Moss ....

This was my call Jayo. The other statement was an observation. Get with it manmossbags wrote:Should be a cracker. Tipp haven't been overly impressive this year. Of course Kilkenny havent either but their extra motivation after the Leinster Final might just give them the edge here

In each of the years 2009, 2010 and 2011, Lar was probably the best hurler on the planet.
He had a bad final last year and hasn't been great this year after his exile.
But class hurler nevertheless and nobody can argue what he achieved in the last few years.
Plus he showed us some of his magic with his assist for the goal and handpass to John O'Neill near the end.

Plus I was always said Taggy was an important player for Kilkenny and yesterday scored his importance in the form of a few vital scores and assists. Great to see him back in the KK starting line-up and Richie Hogan probably won't get his place back. Hard to believe TJ Reid actually played well in a big championship match also.

That's 2 big games in a row for TJ in all fairness to him. Taggy was always underrated, great to see him get MOTM yesterday. These two will need to produce again in the Final as there are question marks hanging over the true form of Shefflin, Power and Larkin up front.Loyal2TheRoyal wrote:Plus I was always said Taggy was an important player for Kilkenny and yesterday scored his importance in the form of a few vital scores and assists. Tommy and Jackie have not been setting the world alight either Tipps capitulation yesterday made it easy for a lot of players who hitherto had been struggling to find their A game this season.
A lot will depend on how JJ(KKs best player) copes with Joe and the fitness of Micheal Fennelly.
All to play for

I thought Tommy Walsh was superb in the QF.

I'd be fearful for his immediate opponent on Final day. He hasn't the All-Star nailed down yet, far from it in fact. Expect one last big effort from Tommy before retirement.
