Tipperary vs. Kilkenny, 20th February 2010

The curtain-raiser of the 2010 NHL, under lights in Thurles. What a way to get back into the hurling - clash of the titans in Semple Stadium on a cosily-cold February evening...and I will be there!* Of course it will be nothing on a championship game, but still should be a good match, Tipp looking for revenge and another league title, the Cats as eager to win as always. Wonder what kind of crowd it will attract? maybe somewhere around the 9000 mark at the best I would say. Bring on 2010!

Ah the innocence of youth, a little over a month after being beaten by the Cats you're ready for more. I'm just about getting over Galway going out in the quarters (sigh)!

Seriously, a good game to start the year but they'll be the team we've all got to beat again no dubt about it.

Personally I'd love a Galway v Tipp final in 2010 but only if we win it!
