Boxty received a most unusual and heartwarming present this Christmas. Pressures of a day on the wren do not allow for a full explanation so watch this space...

We'll, ye' wonder, but Boxty was the recipient of THE most, to him, and a few acolytes of
all-encompassing DVD of last Lá le Stiofáin (2009)..

The opening burst features the Boxty man laying down the rules/expexctations/family values,McLoughlin's) parochial pride (Black&Red) and all that......(14 small Jemmy's awaiting consumption)

In a wonderfully encapulated DVD, our repotier of music, song and set/step dancers intertwine charmingly with our great/noble/saddest days....

I fear to report, ut this is a production / Wonderful, from my own bucks....The halycon days of the Ellis era, as a local enters Leinster House, the good parts of the Co.Finals of '99 and '03 (Both lost). the performance in Killarney of our Novelty winning Act, the welcome in the village for them and the Aughawillian (Defeated/Robbed by a mile

The internet system appears to have broken my train of communication, but for anyone, mother,father, son, brother or parishoner that stood on either side of the "street" in the historical vi9llage of Fenagh, as Gabriel McGlynn, a renowened piper, piped his nephew up to the chapel this time last year or thereavbouts..

They put together a DVD for me for the 40th a couple of years back. All JCs finest moments they said. Fook me - wasn't it only a collection of episodes of Crimeline .....
