I have been known to indulge in the odd "bottle of stout", both at outline venues and indeed within the enviorns of Boxty Towers, all too frequently in the company of some wonderful characters...Feel free to post some anecdotal memories here....

Personally, my tipple (out) would be a brace of Jamesons (ice, no water) followed by Arthur's finest pints...
On the other hand, in the confines of Boxty Towers, nothing resonates like the "gurgle" as you pour the opening glass of a Hennessy, the kick at the back of the throat as you appreciate it's goodness, in the solid knowledge that there's a bottle of it still to go, with a slab of Guinness widget cans to wash it down...

Typical heathenistic approach to a good drink from Pukey here....Never water an Irish whiskey......

Puke badly exposed here with his Blackbush comment.. Suspect

When out for the evening - pints of stout all the way
When out for the day in the summertime - might switch to Heino
At chez omar - If I was looking for a lunchtime tipple to steady the ship I look a cold bottle of stout but one or two max.
In the evening I'd go for a bottle of heino (don't like cans) 30 mins in the freezer prior to opening - like the beer cold enough to cause numbness.
for top shelf I'd go for a laphroaig, Glenlivit, red breast, or Remy - all as nature intended (no water - ice or mixer)
