13 out of 15 for me. I went with Shane Kavanagh and Paddy Stapleton in the full back line and have no quibble with the selection of Curran and Connors.
Overall a fairly reasonable selection and hopefully the catalyst for future All-Stars.***

Well done to Lar Corbett on POTY, fully deserved..

*** A selection devoid of those whinging Cork gimps....

Truth be told I knew Tommy and Eoin Kelly would get them but don't think either deserved them...Walsh had a decent year but not outstanding, would have preferred Maher or Regan to have gotten a spot......while Kelly was very much on the periphery for Tipp this year as Corbett and McGrath became the main men up front....Game against Waterford aside he was quiet in the rest of the games.....Was nowhere to be seen second half v Galway and can't remember him having any real impact in the final, added to a very subdues performance v Cork.....

But then again it is the all stars and they are a joke to be honest

Tommy Walsh had a great season, so good that the all Ireland champions had an entire game plan to keep the ball on the opposite wing for the entire final. Can't get a bigger compliment than that.

Eoin kelly (Tipp) is not the player he was when he was the mainstay (only) forward that Tipp had, for some 8 years, although Lar Corbett was available in those days.

Kelly maybe didn't deserve his spot, but got it I believe because of his service.

After underperforming for ten years, or over performing for one year, Lar Corbett fully deserved to be hurler of the year.

I could understand Kelly getting one for service if he hadn't 5 already....think he got it mainly due to there being very few stand out forwards in this years championship, would have rated Ryan and Mahers contributions higher than his all the same....
