Re: The Premier League
A great tribute to the EPL .... We of course, needn't fear the Spaniards at the soccerball thing in June on this evidence...
One can but feel for The Puke on a night like this.
Oh! How I'll miss those long soliloquy's from various "experts", full of flowery phraseology as they eulogised this Barcelona team....
There won't be a cow milked in West London tonight.

Two very average teams on display here. Awful game of football - have lost count at the amount of aimless long balls played by both sides thus far

Re: The Premier League
United deserve to be behind for their lack of balls and bottle alone. Hard to see the successful United sides under Ferguson of years gone by playing as negatively and as meekly

Sir Alex disgracing himself (again) after the final whistle, showing just what a classy operator he is (again).
Well done City, the only side who tried to play football. I hope they finish the job now.

United well beaten. First EPL game I've watched from start to finish in years. Wasn't a great game but exciting enough.
I expect city to drop points now to make a complete hames of it.

What did he do after TC? Saw him and Mankini do the hand puppet thing earlier.

Re: The Premier League
City fully deserved the win. United have bottled the title race. Losing to Wigan and losing a 4-2 lead against Everton is criminal in the run in.

Re: The Premier League
Shocking stuff from United, team set up for a draw and invited City onto them time after time. Got what they deserved in the end.
United need some serious investment, City team has more footballers, United made up of too many water carriers.
Wouldnt be at all surprised to see a few twists to the story before its all over, not that i particularly care

Mancini passed their earlier confrontation off as a nothing matter but Sir Alex moaned on about Mancini badgering the 4th official. Bit rich from Sir.

a bit rich indeed from the master of mind games and one who always tries to influence big games with his pre match comments.

Re: The Premier League
The red nose knows no bounds when it comes to hypocrisy. Delighted to see City deserevedly beat a mediocre United outfit. The fact that they are top tells you all you need to know about the EPL as I keep saying. Worst United team in the last 25 years with Rooney the only class player. Could be heading Liverpool way.
That said it wouldn't surprise me if there is another couple of twists ....

Plus brought on Deko who's first contribution was to set up Yayas first goal
then brought on Richards whose first touch was a point blank block

Roberto - please emulate Giller this weekend and make your Sky Blues deliver the holy grail to the people of your city. For too long the people of London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, etc have celebrated while Manchester waited ... put this to right .....

Re: The Premier League
On the eve of City's crowning as Champions of England we can only but think of Patrique.
What would he have posted this evening or indeed tomorrow? My guess is that he'd have been sure to claim how little he cared for such a petty victory, wouldn't 4th place have just been as good he'd have said. He'd have stopped watching weeks ago once he was sure they had the Champions League spot. Mancini's job in danger, after all surely no manager could be kept in charge after the embarrassment of winning the League he'd say.
A real shame he couldn't be here to see it.
