The Premier League - Massive Gulf in Class
Chelsea 6 Wigan 0
Arsenal 6 Blackpool 0
Newcastle 6 Aston Villa 0
Three 6-0s in one weekend, Chelsea put six past West Brom last week too. Hardly the best League in the world, that award, I'm afraid goes to either the Bundesliga or the J-League.

Good man Doc. Last week Mr.Delaney informed the nation that the Fraudelent Atrocity Institute (FAI) were a "mere" €38 large in the hole for the Aviva....FFS.
In modern Ireland, whomsoever lent these spoofers that kind of shelels should be arrested....And that was there share of the development?
Followers of soccerball, be it nationally or at rural level should tighten their belts...No money for rural soccerball, NO SIR, and price tickets for the Plastic Paddy followers, through the roof.....
Anyway, tis' good enough for them, because it's not a sport here, no more than it's not a sport in England....business capitalists fail the world over...
Soccerball is doomed, praise the Lord....

What is a Crouch. Golf term about a trio of holes in one or what

A crouch is a large rather thin implement used to play football.. The trio of holes might not be wholly unconnected with this implement but not in a professional capacity.

Newcastle putting six past Villa is hardly a sign of a gulf in class.
If anything it's the opposite since a newly promoted side are beating a top 6 team.

On a side bar...Chelsea lamped some crowd last Saturday, but what unique statistic, going back to 1933 did this match entail.
A unique occurrence, not seen in a league game at the top level of UK soccerball since then.

Probably the first time a team scored two consecutive 6-0 wins at the start of a season since then?
