I first met Mick in Inis Thiar in 1979. Barely knew him at the time but he was courting his future wife at the time. Outside of TV saw Mick in numerous stage productions over the years and he was a powerful actor. He lived life to the full and I miss the salute from MIck on his bike as he went about his business, round to the shops etc. A gentleman,great actor and a lovely true native of Mayo and the Gaeltacht. Ar Dheis De ar a anamm.
