TYRONE WIN MINOR ALL IRELAND
Just a small note of congratulations to Tyrone minors who won the All Ireland C title today beating Donegal by 2-16 to 1-14. A good achievment given the dearth of attention given to hurling in the county

Congratulations to them and to donegal on being in the final, hopefully they will continue development and challenge the antrims, downs, armaghs and derrys of ulster in the coming years would be brilliant to see, but in the mean time well done keep up the hard work.

Good to hear. Be great to see hurling taking off all over Ulster and other provinces too!

it is also worth noting our Ladies team out an end to Corks hopes of winning 6 titles on the trot and our Minor Boys are in the All Ireland final - all in all a good weekend for the Red Hands - we must be close to over taking Antrim as the most successful county in Ulster.

Boc I think your ladies are playing Kerry in semi. At least both teams will be easier on the eye than their male counterparts!

Aye - great to know that the Carlow success story at senior level is also happening at underage. Though I do warn you that the bulk of the Dub minor team will be young enough next year. Cormac Costello is only 16!

Re: TYRONE WIN MINOR ALL IRELAND
No our underage clubs do not play in the Kilkenny leagues, our senior clubs do.
JC, we have a fine U16 team this year. Will be very hopeful of doing well on Saturday in the All Ireland B. Very close to being in the A. Played Laois a few weeks back (there in the A) and lost by 8 points. Only had 12 U16s for numerous reasons and had to get a few U15s.
I think Carlow are very close to a Leinster minor final in the near future.........fingers crossed.

Only 130 behind now in Ulster titles, and three behind in SENIOR all Irelands.
But ye are heading in the right direction, as Antrim did win three in a row all Irelands which distorts the overall picture.
