Has the Hurling format settled down?
Has the format for the hurling settled down?
I feel it has, we have leinster in competitive motion this year and new munster champs, problems will arise next year though with Westmeath coming up this will leave the CRC open to be won by Down or Kerry more than likely. Kerry not so problematic just an extra quater final in munster but Down, i understand the Leinster teams frustration at antrim and galway coming into their championship but Down will be a step far given that they are on an even keel with many leinster teams such as meath, Kildare.
Can this be resolved or are we looking at more turmoil in the future format of hurling?
Open draw time? Round robin time? We definitely need change as Leinster cant go on harboring weaker hurling counties they have to develop some of their own counties, what if Mayo win the CRC also, we are looking at mayhem unless someone does something.

Re: Has the Hurling format settled down?
A few years ago the GAA for the first time in its history had FOUR meaningful hurling quarter finals. In each game there were favourites but you would not have been betting your house on any of the games.
A momentous occasion, so they did away with the quarter finals.
With organisation like that.......expect the worst.
