Are there any forwards in Cork
Big county, huge player base and one of the so called Aristocrat counties. Yet for years they have struggled to put 6 decent forwards on the pitch. Over the years Deane and Ben O connor have the the only two consistent top class forwards. We've seen Corcoran, o Sullivan used to plug gaps but todays ensemble was woeful- Cussen who is at best an impact Sub, An aeging ben O connor, McCarthy the usual headless chicken, O halpin who moves like Bambi with mad cow disease and Fraggy and Horgan (replaced) who I can't comment on as in the last two matches I'm not sure that either actually touched the ball. Kilkenny have nine forwards better than corks best at present.

totally agree with you OMAR - that Cussen is an awkward customer and ifs he a hurler then I'm Henry Shefflin!!!!!
Loughnane aluded to this at half time when he said Cork had no skillful forwards and boy was he right - O' Connor was hardly a factor in the game either bar his free taking

Re: Are there any forwards in Cork
This Cork team will struggle next weekend. Likely to be without Curran and SéanOg and completely bereft of forwards. Both corner forwards were replaced again tonight as they were last Sunday.
I thought the Waterford full back, Lawlor and indeed the two corner men, coped very well with the "threat" posed by Aisake.
But the old "Lorry them in high" policy adopted by Cork was foolish on a wet night. Denis Walsh is obviously aware of the limitations of the forward line when this is the tactics.
There might indeed, as Tómas Mulcahy indicated, be a large bottle or two consumed around Lismore tonight.

Struggled to recognise a name on JBM,s panel for tonight.
Tipp scored first then cork knocked over 14 on the trot. Ending with 26 points and a twelve point victory.
